55 Sheridan is the realization of a dream. My wife is an artist who works in oil paints, pastels, mixed media and stone. Yes she hammers and chisels on stone to make beautiful objects. So we need to live in a semi-industrial zone where this kind of work is okay. Long before we met, we each lived in SF and just love the city. We’ve always looked for the right opportunity to move back. So in 2003, we finally found that perfect combination of lot size and location in San Francisco’s SOMA district to build a custom artist studio and residence. We retained Lundberg Design to create the ideal blend of residential comfort and industrial grit. In late 2005 we broke ground. This site chronicles our building progress and the team that’s making it possible. Stay tuned for updates.
